Overview
The MJ-QSFP100G-LR4S transceiver modules are designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet links on up to 25km of single mode fiber. It is suitable for long distances and offers a highly cost-effective way to establish a 100 Gigabit link connectivity between devices using QSFP28 ports. The compatible QSFP-100G-ER4L-S converts 4 input channels of 25Gb/s electrical data to 4 channels of LAN WDM optical signals and then multiplexes them into a single channel for 100Gb/s optical transmission. It supports link lengths of up to 25km (without FEC) or 32km (with FEC) over single-mode fiber (SMF) at the wavelength specified between 1295nm and 1310nm using a duplex LC connector.
